We are coming back to the park- Sunbeam Lake Park, that is, to celebrate World Autism Awaremss Month. A great time is guaranteed, with a wide variety of activities and events to satisfy any palate.
This year, we are featuring a health-related theme. We encourage all of you to join us in adopting a fun approach to getting fit and eating healthy.
Proceeds from this event will be used to provide important Applied Behavioral Ananysis (ABA) tools to the Autistic children who reside in our Imperial Valley. Working alongside Motiva, Sunny Days anThe Autism Center, we identify families in need of these items, so important for motor, speech and behavioral development.
All registered participants receive the official event shirt, tote bag, race medal in addition to food and drink. We have tons of fun activities including face painting , balloon-twisting, sensory games, jump house and sooo much more!
We encourage all participants to dress in their favorite fitness related costume, whether it be sports-related, superhero theme or any thing you can dream of! We have prizes for the best costume!
See you at the park on April 6th, 2019!
